The Chico News & Review puts on a local music awards show in the spring
called the CAMMIES (or, Chico Area Music Awards). The Jeff Pershing
Band has been nominated 3 years in a row for an award in the category of
Best World/Celtic/Reggae artist.

The Jeff Pershing Band was one of the five nominees in the category of
Best World/Celtic/Reggae artist who was chosen  by a 48-member
selection committee made up of a wide-range of local musicians,
promoters, bookers, soundpersons, DJs, journalists and music fans.
